Job summary

Jimmy John's in Buford, GA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily store operations, drive sales, and uphold food safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes leadership, training, and developing a positive team environment; you’ll act as a role model when the GM is absent and contribute to great customer service.

Qualified candidates will be eligible to work in the U.S., with prior restaurant leadership preferred and a willingness to complete certification

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication and math ability essential.

Responsibilities

• Assists in managing a staff of approximately 20 employees, including hiring, training, evaluating and discipline.
• Forecasts daily usage of food items per shift, which requires some fundamental math skills.
• Performs daily duties, including slicing meats, prepping veggies and baking bread.
• Implement and audit Jimmy John’s policies, systems and procedures.
• Completes necessary paperwork on a daily, weekly and periodic basis.
• Manages cash drawers, bank deposits and change.
• Participate in marketing and promotional activities.
• Oversees and assists in providing great customer service to all.
