Job summary

Shoe Sensation, Inc. in Waynesburg is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead our sales team and deliver excellent customer service while selling shoes, apparel, and accessories.

You will recruit, train, coach, and supervise store staff, handle deposits, and manage opening/closing duties to ensure a clean and organized sales floor. This role offers advancement within a company that promotes from within.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and have personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
• Willing to open/close the store, knowing that there may be times that you are alone in the store.
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Can kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through shopping experience.
• Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
• Ring up sales, handle payments, and apply discounts.
• Help restock the sales floor and keep it neat and clean.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
• Coach and discipline the store sales team and lead them to deliver the best customer experience.
• Prepare deposits and make deposits at the bank.
• Process freight and set the sales floor as it arrives.
