Summit Recommerce Group (SRG) operates Uptown Cheapskate in State College and is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager. The role emphasizes leadership, learning, and growing within a network of stores. You will help maintain a friendly store vibe, manage the team, and support store performance.

Based in State College, this position offers a collaborative environment with cross-training across store operations, social media involvement, and advancement opportunities within SRG.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to lead and support a store team in State College.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories and price items
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers at the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise and keep the store looking appealing
• Opening and closing tasks and till management
• Inventory management and coordination with storage
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team
