Job summary

Firehouse Subs is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Fort Walton Beach location. You will partner with the General Manager to run the restaurant, lead shifts, and ensure outstanding guest experiences.

You’ll train staff, manage scheduling and costs, maintain safety standards, and participate in recruiting. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive team and a community-focused brand.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or retail shift-lead experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during shifts
• Train and coach staff to follow recipes, procedures, and hospitality standards
• Assist with scheduling, inventory, food cost, and labor management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized restaurant
• Ensure guests receive fast, friendly, accurate service
• Support recruiting and onboarding of new hires
• Uphold Firehouse Subs policies, safety standards, and brand culture
• Step in to run shifts independently when the General Manager is not present
• Promote Foundation initiatives and represent the brand in the community
