Job summary

Blaze Pizza is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a diverse team, uphold quality, speed and guest service, and manage operations in the absence of the Assistant General Manager.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to hire/train, balance cash drawers, inventory counts, and enforce food safety standards, with 50-hour weeks, weekends, nights and holidays. Benefits include health/dental/vision, PTO, advancement, and employee meal privileges.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, guest service, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• A high school diploma (some college preferred).
• A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Basic knowledge of P&L statements.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
• Full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work a 50-hour work week.
• Good personal grooming.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant teams to deliver fast, courteous guest service.
• Manage day-to-day operations in absence of the Assistant GM.
• Balance cash drawers and inventory counts.
• Hire and train new team members.
• Ensure product quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Provide daily feedback and conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain a positive work environment and adapt to shift changes.
• Oversee guest experience and brand culture.
