Job summary

Blaze Pizza is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced setting. You will oversee guest interactions, uphold quality, and ensure smooth shift execution with a focus on service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, a high school diploma, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Expect flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for advancement and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, guest service, communication and conflict resolution skills.
• A high school diploma (some college preferred).
• A minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Basic knowledge of P & L statements.
• Basic math and accounting skills.
• Full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work a 50-hour work week.
• Good personal grooming.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours.
• Ability to lift 35-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Morning to day-to-day operations management in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver great pizzas and guest experiences.
• Provide daily feedback and performance reviews to staff.
• Interview, hire and train new team members to build Blaze brand and culture.
• Ensure product quality, cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Handle cash drawers, inventory counts and other administrative duties.
• Maintain a positive work environment and responsive guest service.
