Panera is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead an amazing bakery-cafe team and support the GM in daily operations. You will coach, develop, and guide staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and adherence to Panera’s standards of quality and safety.

You will foster a culture of warmth and belonging, manage shifts and staffing, and work toward growth opportunities within Panera. Availability includes nights and weekends, with a 45-50 hour work week.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise café staff, partnering with the GM to ensure smooth operations.
• Coach and develop team members; hire and train new staff as needed.
• Maintain Panera standards of quality, safety, and guest service.
• Drive growth and profitability through effective staffing and costs management.
