Job summary

Samsung Electronics America is seeking a Pricing and Finance Analyst in Plano, TX to drive master pricing, margin management, and revenue analytics across the HE division. You will register pricing, approve promotional pricing, and support weekly forecasts and product allocations with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include enhancing sell-in forecasts, managing price blocks, and delivering accurate analyses with large data sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or SCM/Operations required.
• 4+ years of experience in finance/scm or related field preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage master SDU Pricing and margin process for HE division (pricing registration, RRP, Margin, Invoice) and RRP moves.
• Approve special pricing conditions from sales to support promotions.
• Contribute to weekly revenue forecasts (AP2) by analyzing channel inventory, sell-through, promotions and seasonality by model and key account.
• Create weekly sell-in/sell-out templates to track sales status and ensure product delivery supports plans.
• Improve long-term sell-in forecasting using analytical methodologies for TP processes.
• Support onboarding of new customers or new categories within existing customers.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance and SCM to release price blocks and hit monthly targets.
• Manage B/R Goods processes with Sales Finance team and support AV TP/Closing forecasting.
• Provide business visibility to PM/BM with advanced revenue analytics.

Position Summary

This role is intended to support financial processes via master pricing management and deep analysis AP1, AP2 & RTF. This role will be responsible for checking major issues of the business and establish a counterplan, or assist the management in effective decision-making by recognizing potential business risks beforehand.

Role And Responsibilities

• This role will manage master SDU Pricing and margin process for the HE division including new product pricing registration (launch RRP, Margin, Invoice) and RRP move process
• Approve special pricing conditions from sales team to support promotional objectives
• Sell-in revenue forecasting process, contribute to weekly unit forecasts (AP2) based on analysis of channel inventory, sell-through history, future promotions, competitive activity, and seasonality by model and by key account. In order to do this, work closely with PM & BM Team, assisting in weekly sales forecast and product allocations.
• Analyze and create template for weekly sell in & sell out to identify sales target status, ensuring fulfillment of delivery to achieve sales plans and product development.
• Improve long-term sell-in forecasting with suitable analytical methodologies for TP process
• Support set up new customers or new categories within existing customers
• Release price block working with Sales, Finance and SCM Team to achieve monthly sales target
• Manage B/R Good process with Sales Finance Team
• TV & AV Sales deduction management and full AV TP & Closing forecasting process support
• Provide business visibility to PM and BM Team with advanced revenue analytics

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of Experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or SCM/Operation or a related field

• Accurate and timely analysis working with large multi-variable data sets
