Wendy's in Covington, LA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead the restaurant team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive sales and operational metrics. You will be a role model, coach staff, and manage day-to-day operations with accountability and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, scheduling, hiring and training, maintaining food safety standards, controlling costs, and ensuring a fun, family environment.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service concepts.
• Flexibility to work 50-55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening and eligibility to work in the country.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Lead coaching and development of staff; manage team relations.
• Ensure proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
