Wendy's in Hammond, LA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant and develop a strong team. You will drive daily operations, customer service excellence, and sales performance in a fun, family-friendly environment.

As a leader, you will oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and adherence to health and safety standards, while promoting career growth and internal promotions within Wendy's established brand.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Ability to work 50-55 hours per week, including weekends/holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation.
• Consent to background screening.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling and developing staff.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for the fun, family environment in the restaurant.
