Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe policies.
• Oversee daily work assignments of Front Desk staff.
• Perform detailed guest room inspections to identify repair needs.
• Investigate and resolve guest situations such as reservation errors or lost belongings.
• Ensure quality, consistency and presentation of products delivered to guests.
• Develop department staff through education, training and coaching.
• Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service and notify management of concerns.
• Mentor and evaluate direct reports to uphold company values.
• Notify management or Ethics Hotline of illegal acts or violations.
• Foster positive guest/employee relations and perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the individual plans and directs the Front Desk and Guest Service operations to ensure a positive guest experience. Duties include, but not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Oversees daily work assignments of Front Desk staff.
• Performs detailed guest room inspections to identify repair/improvement needs.
• Investigates and resolves guest situations such as reservation errors or lost personal belongings.
• Responsible for quality, consistency, and presentation of all products delivered to guests.
• Develop department members’ knowledge and skills through education, training, coaching, corrective counseling, etc.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
• Conduct personal behavior and select, train, coach, counsel, appraise and retain direct reports who consistently perform actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication
• Demonstrate commitment to assisting in the development of Seminole Tribe members participating in the Tribal Career Development program and, when a Seminole Tribe member’s assignment falls within your direct area of responsibility, act as a personal mentor/career advisor to the Tribe Member and submit progress reports and information to the Director of Tribal Development.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
• Promotes positive guest/employee relations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of front desk experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred. Must have proficient knowledge of MS Office software programs such as Excel, Word and Outlook.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast‑paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
