Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to ensure accurate room rating and rack maintenance. You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, respond to requests, and support daily front desk operations with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with preferred prior front desk experience in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Check out vacant and clean rooms and update room rack statuses.
• Run alert date reports daily.
• Review out-of-order and off-market rooms for validity.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest requests.
• Assist guests checking out via video check-out and provide bell assistance when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Front Desk Manager, the individual is responsible for the accurate rating of rooms and ensuring the room rack is properly adjusted at all times. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Essential Job Functions

• Checking out any vacant and clean (due out) rooms and changing statuses of rooms in the rack.
• Running alert date reports.
• Reviewing out-of-order and off-market rooms on a daily basis for validity.
• Answering incoming phone calls and responding to guest requests.
• Responding to guests checking out via video check-out.
• Offering bell assistance to each guest upon departure and running applicable reports to verify correct room rates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent education required and previous front desk/hotel experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
