Hart’s Turkey Farm Restaurant in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead front-of-house operations and ensure exceptional guest service. This full-time, year-round role supports the General Manager, oversees staff, and maintains standards and safety procedures.

You’ll recruit, train, schedule, and coach team members, manage social media accounts, and help drive a positive work environment while delivering a memorable dining experience for loyal guests.

Qualifications

• Preferred: 3 years management experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Minimum: 3 years experience serving and/or bartending in a full-service restaurant.
• Flexible availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of scheduling.
• Experience with social media business accounts.
• ServSafe certified or able to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the General Manager to uphold all safety, standards, and service procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, and dismiss team members as needed.
• Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and coaching to staff.
• Motivate the team and foster a positive work environment.
• Schedule staff on a weekly basis and maintain staffing levels for daily operations.
• Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Assist with daily front‑of‑house operations and support team members across FOH departments.
• Maintain and update social media business accounts.
• Acquire mastery of all FOH departments through hands‑on training to support team members as needed.
