Cafe Rio Mexican Grill is hiring an assistant manager for its Hurricane, UT location. The role offers hands-on training and the chance to oversee a high-energy restaurant team, ensuring food quality and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of management experience in fast-paced dining, strong people skills, and the ability to lead and develop staff while maintaining safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. and stand for 8+ hrs.
• 2+ years of management experience, preferably in the restaurant industry managing a team of 15+ employees.
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays, with weeks that may exceed 40 hours.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations and manage day-to-day activities.
• Coach and mentor team members to take on greater responsibilities.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and adherence to brand standards.
• Coordinate scheduling, training and performance feedback.
