Job description

In partnership with the Store Manager, provide leadership to achieve or exceed sales and profitability goals. Consistently exemplify, maintain, and foster the culture and values of World Market. Drive a service and selling culture through effective leadership routines and engagement behaviors. Maintain a branded store experience through consistent visual execution, standards, and recovery. Hire, develop, and retain a high-performance team through coaching, training, and recognition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage overall store logistics processes supporting company initiatives and productivity goals.
  • Utilize all company tools and training resources to educate the team on logistics processes, visual standards, and stocking routines.
  • Plan and execute logistics workload by managing publication calendar and delivery schedule; collaborate with the Operations Manager for scheduling.
  • Organize, plan, and execute signage and graphics in partnership with the management team.
  • Follow up on truck receiving and data integrity issues; handle parts ordering via BOLT and address QA issues.
  • Ensure execution of omnichannel initiatives, including inbound and outbound freight activity.
  • Maintain stockroom standards and organization for efficiency and safety.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or in the absence of the Store Manager.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Strong leadership skills including customer experience focus, urgency, attention to detail, creative problem solving, sound decision making, effective delegation, and daily priority execution.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Full-time and part-time associates are eligible for the Company’s 401(k) plan after three months of service.
