Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive daily store operations, customer service, and team leadership. You will manage registers, assist customers, and coach staff to upsell products while ensuring a high-energy, clean, and organized store environment.

The role requires open availability for weekends and holidays, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Growth into store leadership is encouraged; benefits include weekly pay, stock options, and insurance

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for deposits.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Customer-focused service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
