Jersey Mike's Portage is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will coach and develop a busy team, handle opening/closing procedures, manage scheduling, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
• At least 1 year of restaurant management (More than one year preferred).
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Education: High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Motivating, developing and coaching their team.
• Work in a fast-paced team driven atmosphere.
• Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience.
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of store.
• Scheduling.
• Expertise in food safety.
