Job summary

Subway Assistant Manager – Store 443 at GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a hands-on leader in Honaker, VA to help run daily operations, coach team members, and ensure food quality and service standards are met. You will step in for the Store Manager when needed and help maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to bend, stand, and walk during shift.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication).
• Patience and clear communication when training new employees.
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model exceptional customer service.
• Train and support team on food prep, safety, and service.
• Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance feedback.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and equipment.
• Manage inventory and ordering to minimize waste.
• Control labor, food cost, and expenses to meet budget goals.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor laws.
• Step in to support deli or QSR operations as needed.
