Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive and achieve profit, sales and performance goals according to National Vision standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same-day service using the Ready When Promised board.
• Communicate with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office and provide store reporting.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with doctors and store staff; liaison between doctor and store personnel.
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and merchandising are in place and known by all staff and doctors.
• Supervise and motivate staff and ensure timely completion of day-to-day tasks.
• Assist the General Manager with staffing, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
