Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Communicates in a clear, organized and professional manner in both written and oral form.
• Electrical and/or software development knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Engineering staff and provide guidance and oversight to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments.
• Ensure work is being performed by staff in compliance with corporate quality standards and follows project management best practices.
• Perform manager delegated responsibilities including administrative responsibilities.
• Provide input and take a leadership role in implementing department strategy.
• Develop manufacturing processes by understanding product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; and conferring with equipment vendors.
