Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on mechanical knowledge and experience.
• Communicates in a clear, organized and professional manner in both written and oral form.
• Electrical and/or software development knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Engineering staff and provide guidance and oversight to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments.
• Ensure work is being performed by staff in compliance with corporate quality standards and follows project management best practices.
• Perform manager delegated responsibilities including administrative responsibilities.
• Provide input and take a leadership role in implementing department strategy.
• Provide input on staff competencies and performance.
• Develop and implement optimized, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with customer, product or process specifications, quality requirements and standards while following a structured in-house developmental process.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through process development, process improvement, root cause investigations, etc.
