Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running drive-in operations, training and supporting team members to deliver quality food in a clean, safe and efficient environment.

You’ll lead and coach crew, oversee opening/closing, monitor staffing and inventory, ensure policy compliance, and focus on delivering a great guest experience.

Strong leadership and prior QSR management experience qualify you for growth opportunities within SONIC Drive-In.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year of entry level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills and basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches team members, carhops and skating carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Open and/or close the drive-in restaurant as required.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory, and food cost control.
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures guests are served promptly.
