Job summary

Hounds Town Atlanta - Smyrna is seeking an Assistant Manager for our dog daycare. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure a safe, fun environment for dogs, and provide exceptional service to pet parents while supporting daily operations and staff development.

You will assist in training, scheduling, and overseeing playgroups, with a focus on safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced, pet-loving environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and staff supervision experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of dog behavior preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in daily operations and staff management.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all dogs in care.
• Oversee playgroups and monitor dog behavior for healthy interactions.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide excellent service to pet parents.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
