Job summary

The Center for Disability Services, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Manager in Queensbury, NY to lead daily residential operations, supervise Direct Care Staff, and ensure high-quality supports for the people we serve.

You will work under the Program Manager to maintain staffing ratios, performance, and compliance with program standards. The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS Driver’s License, and at least one year of related experience in developmental disabilities

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in developmental disabilities, mental illness, traumatic brain injuries or geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational needs of a residence including the Direct Care Staff and the people we support as directed by the Program Manager.
• Perform direct care to the people of the residence.
• Assist the Program Manager supervise Direct Care Staff assigned to the residence by ensuring staffing ratios and service delivery.
