Job summary

Kay Search Group in Washington, DC, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Client Intake & Conflicts, to lead day-to-day conflicts clearance and new business intake within a premier AmLaw 100 firm. You will mentor Conflicts Analysts, drive process improvements, and partner with leadership on data quality and technology initiatives in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment.

The role requires 5+ years of conflicts experience in a large firm and familiarity with Intapp Conflicts/Open; you will

Qualifications

5+ years of conflicts experience in a large law firm or similar environment.
Proven ability to train, mentor and guide junior team members.
Experience with automated new business intake and conflicts systems, including Intapp Conflicts/Open.
Knowledge of corporate affiliation and business entity research databases and complex conflicts data.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day new business intake and conflicts clearance processes.
Serve as a resource on conflicts and intake requirements to attorneys and leadership.
Resolve complex or escalated conflicts and intake issues with sound judgment.
Generate and review conflicts reports and maintain ethical walls.
Monitor team workflows and ensure service levels and deadlines are met.
Mentor Conflicts Analysts and provide onboarding, research methodologies and best practices.
Partner on data quality initiatives, workflow enhancements and tech implementations.
Develop and maintain conflicts procedures and training materials.
