Birch Family Services is seeking a Community Habilitation Assistant Manager to support the Community Habilitation Program Manager in maintaining staff coverage and ensuring the safety of individuals. Responsibilities include developing staff action plans, providing supervision to Community Habilitation Counselors, and working directly with individuals to achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will have residential experience, preferably in community-based programs, and a high school diploma. A valid NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are essential to transport individuals as needed.

The Primary responsibilities of the Community Habilitation Assistant Manager includes supporting the Community Habilitation Program Manager in assuring appropriate coverage & staff assignments at all times to maintain a safe and secure environment for the individuals. Developing Community Habilitation staff action plans and review on a semiannual basis in accordance with regulations. Plan and provide on-going supervision of Com Hab Counselors through staff meetings and individual and/or monthly meetings.
