Job summary

Cherrywood Apartments in Kenner, LA is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. Every day is different—from welcoming future residents to coordinating move-ins and creating an exceptional living experience for our community.

As Assistant Manager you will lead tours, coordinate make-ready with maintenance, respond to inquiries, guide residents through the leasing journey from application to move-in, and support marketing and events.

Qualifications

• Background in sales, customer service, or hospitality (property management experience is a plus!).
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience with property management software preferred; training available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Tour future residents and showcase the community.
• Coordinate move-in readiness with maintenance and vendors.
• Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
• Guide residents through the leasing journey from application to move-in.
• Support marketing initiatives and resident events.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure Fair Housing compliance.
