Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking an Assistant Manager for the BriteWorX Car Washery. You will assist the BriteWorX Manager to run daily operations, ensure wash quality, and maintain safety and image.

You will engage customers in promotions and lead staff to deliver an exceptional buying experience, spending significant time outside with the team. You will promote cash wash sales, monitor equipment, handle deposits, and address customer concerns while supporting associates and ensuring asset security

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience in retail, car wash or related field.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Willingness to work irregular schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Comfort working outside in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of the car wash to meet sales, expense, and profit goals.
• Assist Manager in monitoring equipment and facility cleanliness and wash quality.
• Complete deposits and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain and track inventories.
• Communicate marketing and promotion programs to employees.
• Promote customer awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Support staff training and development as needed.
