SMGHA Nevada, LLC is seeking a Restaurant Assistant Buffet Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure high-quality guest experiences. The role requires managing floor service, supervising staff, and coordinating with kitchen teams to effectively meet guest requests.
A qualified candidate should have prior restaurant management experience, possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and be able to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends. This position also requires obtaining specific health and alcohol awareness certifications.
Reporting to the Buffet Manager, the Restaurant Assistant Buffet Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the company’s brand standard.
Work is performed in a hotel/resort setting. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality. May be exposed to smoke. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests. Prolonged sitting or standing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 75 pounds occasionally. Eye/hand coordination. Use of standard office equipment. Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. May be required to work evening, weekends, and holiday shifts.
