Vail Resorts in Leavenworth, WA seeks an Assistant Parking Manager for the 2026/2027 winter season. The role oversees frontline crews, trains staff, and ensures safe parking operations, with a focus on guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3-5 yrs parking experience.
• WA Flagger certification preferred.
• Valid WA driver's license and clean MVR.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise frontline crews including orientation, training, and shift planning.
• Foster teamwork, guest service, and safety across the parking department.
• Take initiative in routine matters and act decisively in emergencies.
• Oversee roads, parking, and snow clearing operations for safe operations.
• Coordinate with other mountain departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Relay work orders, handle complaints, and monitor quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

• Directly supervise frontline crews including: orientation and training, conflict resolution, longand short term planning of operation, maintenance of tools and equipment, executing daily meetings, and regular one-on-ones with Lead Hands.
• Provide leadership, promote team spirit and cooperative work ethics; provide the mostoutstanding examples of friendly, cooperative relationships with our guests, other staff and the rest of the department.
• Show initiative in handling routine matters and quick, thoughtful judgment in emergencysituations.
• Understand and safely operate all aspects of the roads & parking and snow clearingoperations.
• Work effectively with other department’s mountain-wide as part of a large and diverse team.
• Relay work orders, respond to complaints, adhere to preventative maintenance programs andmonitor quality, reporting to higher management.
• Ensure proper and complete documentation of all frontline duties performed, reporting anypersonal incidents or damage involving a company vehicle/equipment to department managers.
• Ensure adherence to all operational and safety procedures, resulting in safe and efficientoperation of vehicles and other equipment (Snowplow, Snow Blower, Bobcat, etc.) andproviding a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with the selection, training and development of staff, exceeding present standards.
• Understand operational procedures and maintenance for all janitorial equipment.
• Set an excellent example and strive to improve safety, service and job satisfaction.

Job Requirements

• 3-5yrs Previous Parking Experience
• Prior experience driving non-cdl fleet vehicle (preferred)
• Prior experience leading a team
• WA Flagger certification (preferred)
• Experience with Vail Resorts computer applications (preferred)
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Spanish fluency an asset
• Valid State Issued Drivers License and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records Check

The expected pay range is$25.00 - $28.60. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
