Job summary

Wynn Resorts is seeking a Banquet Stewarding Assistant Manager to support the Executive Steward in staffing, training and scheduling stewarding staff. The role involves daily inspections for health and fire code conformance, maintenance oversight of kitchen areas and equipment, and coordination with catering chefs to ensure seamless banquet operations.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of stewarding management experience in a luxury hotel/casino setting, strong English communication

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years stewarding management experience in a high-volume, luxury hotel/casino resort.
• Knowledge of chemicals, PPE, sanitation guidelines, biohazard cleanup and life safety.
• Ability to manage all aspects of the stewarding operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Steward in staffing and kitchens management.
• Train and schedule stewarding staff; supervise operations.
• Conduct daily inspections for health and fire code conformance.
• Direct maintenance of kitchen areas and equipment; ensure inventory and supplies.
• Coordinate stewarding needs with catering chefs and other duties as assigned.

As Banquet Stewarding Assistant Manager your role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

The Banquet Stewarding Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Executive Steward in managing staffing and kitchens, training and scheduling stewarding staff, conducting daily inspections of facilities to ensure conformance with health and fire code regulations, planning, directing and overseeing the maintenance of kitchen areas and kitchen equipment, both stationary and portable, maintaining inventory and supplies necessary to support stewarding staff, coordinating stewarding needs with catering chefs, and all other duties as determined by the Executive Steward or Director of Catering.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner; 2nd Language a plus.
• Position requires a minimum of 2 years prior stewarding management experience, preferably in a high-volume, luxury hotel/casino resort and the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment; prior experience working in a Union environment a plus.
• Candidate must have knowledge of chemicals, personal protection equipment, sanitation guidelines, biohazard clean-up and life safety.
• Must have the ability to manage all aspects of the stewarding operation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
