Job summary

Greystone is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead its Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Asset Management team across multiple markets (Atlanta, Warrenton, Irving). The role focuses on risk/financial analysis, portfolio performance, and collaboration with borrowers and management to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in real estate asset management, mortgage servicing, and leadership, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, and Economics.
• Minimum of five years of experience in Real Estate with emphasis on risk/financial analysis, valuations, relationship management, workouts, capital markets, or asset management.
• Strong knowledge of real estate markets with emphasis on multifamily assets.
• Prior experience with servicing & asset management of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac multifamily loans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation, ownership, and leadership.
• Ability to execute and delegate multiple projects with deliverables to ensure timelines and results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of asset management professionals and promote best practices for direct portfolio management.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and development of assigned teams.
• Prepare mid-year and annual performance reviews for assigned teams.
• Perform financial analyses, risk reviews, valuations, market reports, and other deliverables.
• Monitor risk profile of multifamily loan portfolios and manage related communications with stakeholders.
• Work with borrowers and property management to identify solutions to credit weakness and emerging risks.
