Overview

Domino's Pizza is hiring for an Assistant Manager. This role requires leadership, good judgment, math skills and multitasking to ensure the team delivers quality service and operates efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. Set the example and follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, maintaining image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
• Operate equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler; prepare products; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete related paperwork; clean equipment and facilities.
• On-the-job training and orientation are provided.

Qualifications

• Essential skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately (calculator allowed); ability to make correct monetary change; verbal and written communication to take and process orders both over the phone and in person; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements; navigational ability to read a map and deliver within designated delivery area; ability to deliver to various sites including multi-story buildings.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions; in-store temperatures typically ranging from 36 degrees to 90 degrees and higher; potential for sudden temperature changes.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces up to 500 degrees; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Delivery duties and related driving conditions within a designated delivery area.

Physical Requirements

• Standing for extended periods; walking; lifting and carrying heavy items (examples include cases up to 50 pounds); pushing/pulling carts and dolies; reaching and handling objects at various heights; driving may be required for delivery duties.
