Driving Requirements

All personnel must meet the following requirements in order to operate a motor vehicle for business purposes, including making deliveries.

• A person who is 18 years of age must possess proof of at least two years of driving history immediately preceding the date of the MVR evaluation.
• A person who is 19 years of age must possess proof of at least one year of driving history immediately preceding the date of the MVR evaluation.
• A learner’s permit period documented by an appropriate governmental authority may only be used to confirm driving history.

Driving Record

• No more than two driving‑related violations in the two years immediately preceding the MVR.
• No more than three driving‑related violations in the three years immediately preceding the MVR.
• No more than one at‑fault accident in the three years preceding the MVR.

• Violations that disqualify a candidate include leaving the scene of an accident, hit and run, reckless driving, driving violations involving drugs or alcohol, vehicular homicide or assault, unlawful racing or exhibition driving, and eluding or attempting to elude an officer.
