I Am Boundless is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Residential Manager in delivering direct programming and services to residents with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and collaborative teamwork.

You will contribute to a mission-driven environment serving Ohio residents, with opportunities for growth and professional development in a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma is required.
• Two years of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR (adult, child and infant) and delegated nursing.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License with OH BMV and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly.

Responsibilities

• As Assistant Manager, assist the Residential Manager with direct programming and support services for residents with developmental disabilities.
• Coordinate daily activities and ensure safety, well-being, and positive outcomes for residents.
• Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with families and staff.

What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a meaningful role in assisting the Residential Manager with providing direct programming and support services to residents with developmental disabilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school Diploma
• Two years of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR - adult, child and infant; delegated nursing
• Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proof of auto insurance
• Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills – including spreadsheets and word processing tools – and ability to learn new programs expeditiously

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One year of supervisory experience

SPECIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers with Hoyer lifts
