Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in South Dakota to lead daily operations and ensure a high-quality guest experience. You will supervise a team of 4–12, plan events, assist with promotions, and handle staff training and inventory control.

The role emphasizes communication, teamwork, and maintaining restaurant standards with safety and security in mind. Training will be provided; compensation varies by location and shift availability.

Qualifications

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Computer knowledge is desirable.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
