Job summary

Subway in Norwalk, OH is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, quality food, cleanliness, inventory, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork.

You will also act as a Shift Manager partner, leading a staff of 4–12, assisting with events and promotions, and helping with product ordering and inventory control. A high school diploma and restaurant supervisory experience are required, with strong communication and computer skills essential.

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
