Job summary

Subway - 23412-0 is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork. In addition to Shift Manager duties, you will manage a staff of 4–12 and help plan events and trainings.

You will also assist with product ordering, POS operations, and learn your roles through training. Full-time or part-time positions vary by location and compensation is discussed at hire.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
