Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager in Monticello, KY to lead a small team, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold food safety standards. You will manage 4–12 staff, assist in events and promotions, and help with inventory and ordering.

The role offers varied shifts including day, evening, and weekends, with on-site work at our restaurant. The ideal candidate has prior restaurant operations experience, supervisory exposure, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and operate a POS system.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
