Job summary

Windsor Fashions is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Cedar Hill, TX location. You will lead a team of Stylists, driving sales, coaching staff, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences in a fast‑paced retail setting.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop employees, while managing daily operations and visual standards to uphold Windsor’s Oasis experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, both with customers and staff.
• Open to flexible schedule including opening/closing shifts.

Responsibilities

Why you matter

As a Windsor Assistant Manager you are a key member of our store leadership team. You support the team in driving our mission statement in your store. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll and expenses. You coach and motivate a high performing team of fashion‑loving Stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store and build brand loyalty by providing an omni‑channel Oasis experience to every customer.
• Support the Store Manager in finding, recruiting and retaining great talent, and provide a superior onboarding experience.
• Organize and plan daily operations in detail, owning the sales floor to execute tasks and create the Oasis for customers.
• Partner with the Store Manager to supervise, train, coach and recognize the team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Follow all Windsor policies and procedures; demonstrate integrity at all times.
• Support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive, maintaining a neat, clean and tidy store in compliance with visual guidelines and making merchandising decisions.
• Live and promote Windsor values, fostering a culture of respect, care, ownership and personal commitment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees.
• Quick thinker able to resolve issues with customers and associates as they arise.
• Effective communicator in group and one‑on‑one settings.
• Open to feedback and constantly seeking improvement.
• Flexible and reliable schedule, including opening and closing the store.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, observes, bends and pushes. Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English. Must access all areas of the store, including selling floor, stock area and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise or supplies, generally weighing 0–25 pounds, and work varied hours and days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast‑paced and indoor temperature conditions vary.
