Job summary

Windsor Fashions in Grandville, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team. You will drive sales, coach a team of up to 25 Stylists, and ensure an Omni-channel Oasis experience for customers.

Partner with the Store Manager to hire, train, and develop talent, manage daily operations, and uphold Windsor's merchandising standards while delivering exceptional service and meeting productivity goals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop and motivate a team up to 25 employees.
• Effective communicator in group settings and one-on-one.
• Flexible and reliable schedule including opening and closing the store.

As a Windsor Assistant Manager you are a key member of our store leadership team. You support the team in driving our mission statement in your store. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll and expenses. • You’re a sales driver: drive sales and ensure overall store success. Build brand loyalty by providing an omni‑channel Oasis experience to every customer. Provide feedback to do more with less and create value for the brand.
• You’re an expert at finding and retaining great talent: support the Store Manager in hiring the right talent, create networking connections, and provide an exceptional onboarding experience to support retention goals.
• Right people, right place, right time is your motto: organize and plan in detail to get the job done. Own the sales floor to execute daily operations and create the Oasis for customers.
• You have a passion for leading people: partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training, lead by example, communicate clearly, foster continuous improvement with stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback, and the use of company tools and programs.
• You do the right thing: follow Windsor policy and procedures with integrity.
• You take pride in your store: support execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive, maintain a neat, clean and tidy store, and make smart merchandising decisions.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, observes, bends and pushes. Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English. Must be able to access all areas of the store including the selling floor, stock area and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise or supplies (generally weighing 0–25 pounds). Work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast paced and indoor temperature conditions vary.
