Why you matter

As a Windsor Assistant Manager you are a key member of our store leadership team. You support the team in driving our mission statement in your store. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll and expenses. You coach and motivate a high performing team of fashion loving Stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Sales driver: drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store and build brand loyalty by providing an omni‑channel Oasis experience to every customer.
• Expert at finding and retaining great talent: support the Store Manager in finding the right talent, maintaining a wide talent pool, and providing an exceptional onboarding experience.
• Organize and plan in detail to get the job done, own the sales floor and execute daily operations to create the Oasis for customers.
• Lead people: partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training, lead by example, communicate clearly and foster a culture of continuous improvement with stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback and using company tools and programs.
• Act with integrity: follow all Windsor policy and procedures.
• Take pride in your store: support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive, maintain a neat, clean and tidy store in compliance with Windsor’s Visual Guidelines and make smart merchandising decisions.
• Culture champion: promote Windsor values, deliver best performance, foster a culture of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, observes, bends and pushes. Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English. Must be able to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise or supplies weighing from 0‑25 pounds, and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast paced and indoor temperature conditions vary.
