Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, and safety. You will lead a team, supervise 4–12 staff, and support events and promotions to drive restaurant success.

The role requires strong communication, supervisory experience in a restaurant, and basic computer/POS familiarity. Full-time opportunities vary by location, with compensation discussions at interview.

In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
