Responsibilities / Requirements

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments. Responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks to teams; following up; and reporting results back to the team and other managers.

The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities may include ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, executing sales promotions effectively, training all service staff in service procedures, and organizing Front Counter, McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for the best service.

The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities may include delivering great quality food to customers quickly, ensuring food safety, controlling food cost, and training kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items added to the menu.

The People Department Manager’s responsibilities may include hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals; helping Crew get a good start and recognizing and motivating them throughout their time at the restaurant.

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald's environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our restaurants and have an open availability.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Qualified candidates typically have prior managerial experience in a related setting. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are important. Availability to work flexible hours is required.
