Job summary

Subway is hiring an Assistant Manager in Sturgis, SD. The role focuses on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, safety, and teamwork.

You will lead 4–12 staff, assist with events and promotions, and help with ordering and inventory to maintain smooth operations. The position offers full-time and part-time shifts, including day, evening, and weekend hours, with compensation to be discussed.

Qualifications

PREREQUISITES

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.

Physical

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
