Pay Type: Full Time

The Role:

A Visionworks OD Coordinator is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for each patient. The OD Coordinator assists with training and scheduling OD Techs, is knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. They guide patients through the initial steps of their Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met with care and clarity.

• Maintain accurate patient records prior to preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and share relevant patient information.
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services.
• Support daily operations, including restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.
• Count daily revenue for the optometrist and prepare deposits.
• Prepare technician schedules to meet patient and doctor demands.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Licensed OD Techs must maintain a State Opticians License.
