Job summary

Jobtailor in South Carolina is seeking an experienced retail professional to support store operations and customer service. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Maintain seasonal areas, sales floor, stockroom, and store-front fixtures and displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise.
• Maintain payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits and receipts, and loss prevention records.
• Protect and secure company assets and store cash.
• Enforce safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful, professional, and friendly environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and keeping areas presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
