Pure Hockey in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and employee training. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of management experience in retail, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management/supervisory experience in retail.
• Proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
• Ability to train, coach, develop and motivate employees.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in merchandising, operations, sales and customer service.
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service.
• Partner with the Store Manager to establish and communicate all critical metrics and expectations within the store, including sales, visual, operations, safety, loss prevention, human resources, payroll/scheduling, and training.
• Assist in the hiring, training, and development of store employees.
• Maintain awareness of product knowledge, and current or upcoming product.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintain a safe and secure store environment for both employees and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, and a desire to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and employee training.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the areas of merchandising, operations, sales and customer service
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered, and teaming up with co-workers to provide excellent sales service
