Job summary

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, ensure efficient store performance, and supervise team members across shifts.

You will lead staff, coordinate customer service, donations, and merchandising, and uphold company policies while delivering strong sales results in a community-focused environment. Local travel may be required to cover multiple shifts and store locations.

As the Assistant Store Manager you will assist the Store Manager in the operations of the retail outlet, oversee operations of the store, and supervise assigned personnel in the absences of Store Manager.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Provide leadership and direction to staf, program participants, donors, and customers, ensuring that production and quality goals are achieved and sales expectations are met and that the store operates in an efficient manner.
• Ensure a positive application of organizational policies and procedures by all staff and retail facilities so theyoperate in such a manner as to reflect a positive internal and external appearance.
• The qualified candidate will have excellent oral/written communication skills; possess organizational, problem solving, and management skills, and be customer/detail oriented.

Status:Regular, Full-time, Non-exempt

Travel: Local travel may be required.

External Hiring Range: $18.08-$19.16/hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent AND at least 1or more years’ experience in Management required.
