Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the Store Manager run daily operations of the retail store/outlet and deliver customer‑focused service. The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage staff while meeting sales goals.

The position is full-time with an external hiring range of $18.08–$19.16 per hour. Schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays; local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of management experience required.
• Internal candidates considered with high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months in Goodwill Team Leader role.

POSITION SUMMARY:

TheAssistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the retail store/ outlet. This position will utilize critical thinking and interpersonal skills, active listening, and management abilities to achieve sales expectations and deliver customer-focused service. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee personnel and ensure the store operates efficiently. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will enhance your leadership skills and establish a career in retail while adding value to the community.

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

Status:Full-time

External Hiring Range: $18.08-$19.16/hour

Schedule: Will vary, must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Travel: Local travel may will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent AND 1 year of experience in management required.
• Internal Candidates will be considered with - High school diploma or equivalent AND 6 months of experience in the Goodwill Team Leader role required.
